As someone who takes a barrage of medications and doesn't always remember when and which and who also has a job working on the computer, it's nice to have an app for my mac to help me keep track of things. The app came recommended through my doctor, who said "it just works" and I have agree. It has a simple, intuitive interface that's quick to learn and doesn't get in your way and just helps you take your meds when you need to. Worth a buck, for sure.

wordleman1 (Jan 9, 2011)I love the app...I know it seems so simple to remember to do something so simple...but after using this app two things have happened....I remember to take my pills...BUT THE BIGGIE FOR ME.....I don't take them twice...there were so many days where I took them and them took them again because I can't remember if I took them (there is a pill for that!!!) THANKS FOR MAKING THIS GREAT PROGRAM!!!

No, at present Pill Minder is Mac-only. We are working on an iOS version, but don't yet have a solid ETA.
When the time comes for you to take a pill, the Pillbox and the menu bar icon will flash a blue pill. After a little while, the pill will turn to red, indicating you're late taking your pill. Unless you check off that you've taken the pill, the red pill icon will flash until the end of the day.
